Jesus looks at you with grace and truth. He encourages us to look at people in the same way.
Commissioner Alex Hughes explains Jesus attracted people to God by inspiring them to trust in God. We are called to look at people as he looked at them.
Commissioner Alex Hughes was born in Paisley, Scotland where he came to know the Lord through the ministry of The Salvation Army. After serving as a corps officer and on the staff of the International Training College, he was appointed to work in Chile. There he married Ingeborg Clausen and together they served in various appointments in Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and then had three final appointments in the United Kingdom before retiring to Southampton. They have two daughters Liesl, who is married to Christopher Baldwin and are stationed at the William Booth College and Frances who is a maths teacher in an International School in Munich, Germany where she also soldiers at the local corps.
