Black Studies at Birmingham City University will be hosting the latest Malcolm X Study Circle in collaboration with the Harambee Organisation of Black Unity. Akala will be leading this session talking about the 'Haitian Revolution' and Dr Kehinde Andrews from the Black Studies course will put the legacies of the revolution in the context of today. Black Political activism is a key strand of the Black Studies degree that will be showcased by the event. We will also have details about the degree.
The event is free and all are welcome. Tickets are strictly first-come first serve and entry is only guaranteed before the venue has reached capacity.
