The Birmingham Whisky Club and Ross Thompson (Brand Ambassador for Hi-Spirits) would like to invite you to to join them at The Plough Harborne on Wednesday September 20th 2017 for «Burgers & Bourbon» as part of their 'Bourbon Heritage Month' celebrations. Get a taste of the states as you learn about delicious whiskies from Buffalo Trace UK, 1792 Bourbon, Eagle Rare Bourbon and Sazerac Rye Whiskey.

Within the past decade, Buffalo Trace has won more awards than any other distillery in the world, including an unmatched seven «Distillery of the Year» titles. Still American family owned and located in Franklin County, Kentucky, the distillery's rich history includes such legendary distillers as E.H. Taylor, Jr, George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp and Elmer T. Lee. The distillery sprawls impressively over 130 acres and is home to four centuries of architecture — all still fully operational.

Taste through a fantastic selection of whiskies created by this legendary distillery.

Menu & Line Up
Be welcomed to the venue with a short introduction to bourbon (including a demonstration of White Dog) and enjoy your first dram of the evening, Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
You'll be served a delicious burger* (created for the event by the kitchen maestro's of The Plough) with some specially selected sides. Whilst you're enjoying your meal, taste and learn more about our second whiskey of the evening… 1792 Small Batch Bourbon.
Because no dinner is complete without a sweet treat, your dessert is now served! Whilst you indulge, find out more about Eagle Rare (whilst enjoying a glass, obviously).
For our final whiskey of the night, we're very pleased to introduce you to the fantastic Sazerac Rye. Enjoy your last dram of the event and a chance to ask any remaining questions.
