Our highly popular Santa Hunts are back. Children and parents alike can embark on a fun-filled search for Santa, meeting a series of characters along the way! Decipher the clues to find Santa’s workshop and receive a surprise gift.
Hunt for Santa with costumed guides and magical Christmas clues, search for the mischievous hiding gingerbread men; sprinkle magic dust on the Reindeer shoes; write a letter to Santa in the Victorian school and send it up the chimney — then, when you find him, see if he has received it.
Every child will receive a gift.
— Important Information
These are advanced telephone booking only events.
Santa Hunts are very popular, and usually sell out before December so book your place as soon as possible.
Santa Hunts are designed for children, therefore there is a limit of two adults per child.
Each Santa Hunt has a maximum of 25 people in the group to create a more personal experience. There are 10 Santa Hunts for each day advertised.
Each Santa Hunt is approx. an hour long.
The Santa Hunts leave the Museum's admission foyer every half hour from 9.30am — 3.30pm (excluding 12.30). Due to the popularity of our Santa Hunts, when you call to book, if your preferred time is not available, we will try to accommodate your booking to the nearest available timeslot as best we can.
The booked time slot is the time that you will have access into the Museum village and the Santa Hunt will begin. You are free to stay in the Museum once the Santa Hunt has finished but your ticket does not allow admission before the Santa Hunt begins.
Please note: All bookings for our Christmas event programme must be paid in full at the point of booking without exception.
