This rare opportunity to see the grand old mansion at night will put your sleuthing skills into action.

Join us for an evening of monumental importance as you get to catch a dastardly criminal and show your friends just how clever you really are! Wander around the Hall at night, interview suspects and try to solve this most perplexing mystery, all set within the magnificent surroundings of Aston Hall.

Strange things have been seen and heard. Terrible things. Otherworldly things. Ghostly things! You are invited to uncover the truth – to solve the mystery and remove the curse from Aston Hall. Should you fail the Hall will be doomed!

Our café, gift shop and grounds will be open from 6pm, and throughout the evening until 9.30pm. Make sure you arrive in good time for the briefing at 7pm. Accusations and the grand reveal will take place at 8.45pm.

Please note this isn’t a murder mystery dinner, there isn’t a meal, but we can guarantee an evening of laughs, serious sleuthing, beautiful surroundings, and the satisfaction of supporting Birmingham Museums Trust, a registered charity which keeps incredible buildings like Aston Hall open and cared for.

Costume is not essential but we greatly encourage all of our visitors to dress in Victorian style to really bring the Hall alive, and allow everyone to step back in time to 1857. A simple Victorian style look can be captured without great expense.

This event takes place throughout the building, and some of the suspects and clues will be located on the upper floors of the building, which are accessed by stairs only. As the building has uneven floors we recommend comfortable footwear, and a warm layer as evenings can be cool and some of the event will take place outside. Stiletto heels are not permitted without heel covers.

This event is suitable for ages 12 and upwards. Children under 18 must be accompanied at all times.
Pre-booking is essential. Tickets are non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE OF THIS EVENT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE TO SATURDAY 11TH OF AUGUST DEPENDING UPON ASTON VILLA MATCH FIXTURES.
