Tipton Road, DY1 4SQ Dudley
Once famously described as “black by day and red by night”, the Black Country was once an industrial powerhouse like no other, fueling the industrial revolution and playing a key role in Britain’s national story.

This year, once again, the Museum will open its doors at night, recreating life in the region with costumed demonstrators, skilled craftsmen and an authentic atmosphere. Hear the sound of hammers clang and see sparks fly as re-enactors use centuries-old techniques to forge chains and nails. There will also be a selection of Black Country entertainment across the Museum.
