Arr me hearties, there’s a whole treasure chest of pirate-themed family fun to be opened at the Severn Valley Railway this February Half-Term.

After a short rest for winter maintenance, the Railway will be fired-up and in full steam on Timetable A, and families can stop-off and embark on a seafaring journey of adventure at ‘Buccaneer Bay’ – otherwise known as The Engine House Visitor Centre.

Pirate Fun — February 17th — 25th
Scurvy seadogs can take part in a pirate trail – a quest to retrieve the lost ancient amulet from the fabled treasure chest of Pirate Pete, following clues located around the many exhibits, from ‘Corsair’s Cove’ to ‘Port Rascal’. Creative youngsters can make their very own pirate hats and eye-patches on the arts and crafts tables and take part in a fun children’s quiz.

Model Tramway — February 17th — 25th
We welcome back the Manchester Model Tramway group who will be displaying and operating their superb model tramway layout. Well-behaved shipmates may even get the chance to have a go at controlling the trams themselves.
