That was something special, LAB11 at full capacity with close to 2000 ravers all having it off till 6am! The free party was that good we have decided to do it again…
Once more we take over the full complex with multiple rooms of music & all for free!
Being the 30th anniversary of the summer of love we are going back to our roots this year, with residents new and old alongside a few secret special guests & massive production across the whole of lab to give you a hedonistic acid house utopia under those infamous arches!
As we enter our 3rd year of parties our mission stays the same, using the very best light & sound production available, alongside a core team of residents who know the sound inside out (plus a few who was there the first time round!), we look to bring the original rave era right back into modern day Britain.
Its time too bring some love back into our society, with missery and hardships appearing everywhere you look… its time for The Acid Experiment to take centre stage & bring round the new generations summer of love!
ON THE NIGHT —
On top of our usual mix of Acid House, Acid Techno, Classics, Old Skool & everything between in the terrace & main room. We've brought some mates a long for this party as well in the form of Trönika!
Taking a tour from their humble home at the Hare and Hounds, Kings Heath, Trönika plan to bring a taste of what they are all about and be the perfect side dish to the Acid Experiment!
What is it they are about you ask? Trönika is a home grown Birmingham event and was created like most ideas, in a kitchen, late at night! It’s a labour of love event, with the original idea being to throw intimate parties with an open minded crowd and an outgoing DJ, a chance to really dig deep in to that record box and explore new sounds out loud!
Through out their past they have brought a very underground and adventurous group of selectors to the table, from Romanian bad boys; Sebastian Eric and Mr Raltz to Birmingham’s own Lopaski, not forgetting the lad who holds it down on the regs, resident Josh Guest.
