Write here, write now: storytelling space for not-for-profits and active citizens

Do you want to inspire others to support and share your work?
Do you want to find out how your organisation can grow using Twitter, Facebook or blogging sites?
Do you need more time to reflect and write?
Why not get hands on help to uncover, tell and share your stories?!
Why not improve your communications and get hands on support to do it?!

Join us for a free monthly workshop developed to help voluntary organisations, charities and active citizens tell engaging stories for blogs, newsletters, press releases.

Would you like to know how to use blogs, video clips, photo sharing sites, Facebook, Twitter or other free web tools to help your group? Perhaps you already use those tools but you’d like some inspiration for creating engaging content and stories that will inspire others. We can help!

You don’t need any previous knowledge to take part, and there won’t be any lectures. We’ll talk to you one-to-one, listen to what you need and explain things clearly. Perhaps when you have learnt something new you can come back and return the favour.

What to expect:

— A relaxed and friendly atmosphere
— A place where your needs will be listened to and the support will be appropriate to them
— An opportunity to dive into using social media tool supported by an encouraging buddy
— Space and time to reflect and write
— A place to find your storytelling voice
— An opportunity to polish your writing style
— A place to learn to write structured news and press releases
— A chance to learn how to use photos to support your narrative
— The opportunity to meet new people, share stories and receive feedback.
