We began this last year and there was a huge demand for more. Come and join us as we take a walk through Manchesters radical traditions.
14th June – 12 :00 + 16:00
Manchester’s anti-fascist, radical and working class history tour. Weaved within the walk will be stories about the Peterloo Massacre, Spanish Civil War and the role of the International Brigades, birth of the Vegetarian movement, Chartism, Womens Suffrage and Manchester’s links to Engels and Marx. As well as poignant visits to famous victories for Manchesters militant anti-fascists. This will all be depicted alongside ordinary Mancunians living their lives in historic and contemporary Manchester.
Both walks limited to 20 tickets each. Approx walk time 2 hours.
