Join us for the first in our summer season of Cream Teas and Sunday Matinees: THE KING AND I at Light House, Wolverhampton. Film Tickets are £7.20 / £6.45 concs and just £4.50 for students and Under 25s. Cream Teas will be available to book and buy from Lock Works Cafe Bar. Remember, Bar drinks from prosecco and chilled cider to hit chocolate can be taken through to the film.
In this classic Rogers and Hammerstein Musical, Deborah Kerr plays widowed mother Anna Leonowens, who becomes governess and English tutor to the wives and many children of the King of Siam (Yul Brinner). Anna and the King have a clash of personalities as she works to teach the royals English customs and etiquette.
