Club Integral Midlands Branch returns with a fantastic line-up, featuring new guests to The Edge and old favourites… Tickets only £5 in advance — available now!

HACO is a vocalist, sound artist and founding member of After Dinner and Hoahio. She will be bringing new songs from her new album 'Qoosui'. Haco uses voice and self-programmed electronics as an ‘organic method’ in her performance, accompanied by video images shot and edited with Mariko Tajiri. “Listening to Qoosui feels like stepping into a dream or drowning in clouds of perfume.”––The Wire

TARNOVSKI's performances commonly include a mixture of glitch electronica, musique concrète, drones, computer deconstruction, quirky sonorities and field recordings. He is a musician, composer and producer, hailed as a key figure in Czech experimental-electro music and one of the founding members of experimental pop band Miou Miou and post-everything quartet Gurun Gurun. He also runs Jipangu, a small label focused on experimental music and sound art. Tarnovski is supported by the Czech Centre, London.

KAMURA will be joining our guests — our resident artiste at Club Integral Midlands Branch, Japanese agit-femme vocalist and electricist. Former member of Frank Chickens and Mizutama Shobodan (Polka Dot Fire Brigade) the first Japanese feminist punk band. Voice-modulated improvisation and eco-surrealist chansons are weaved into the bizarre world of the experimental. “Kamura’s various voices combine to create an indeterminate libretto in which bird song, ocean waves and white noise stand tall. …Synthesised melodies shift the atmosphere from B movie horror, past new age ambient and on to playful children’s song. ..”

PSYCHOYOGI are Chris Ramsing — guitar & vocals, Chris Sansom — bass & vocals, Ravi Low-Beer — drums. Challenging though accessible, being influenced by musicians and composers such as Frank Zappa, King Crimson, XTC, Captain Beefheart, Gong, The Beatles, Gentle Giant, Bach, Bartok and Stravinsky and most things left of centre. Their music is unique and does not adhere to a single musical style. Lyrics that challenge current social values and music that excites and stimulates. Jazz, progressive rock and classical influence. Many musical munchies…

SHANKARA ANDY BOLE is a multi instrumentalist, arranger and composer with a highly respected international reputation. He is a member of Bonfire Radicals, one of 7 guitarists in Daevid Allen's Glissando Guitar Orchestra and a member of the legendary Bushbury Mountain Daredevils and The Late Night Band! A master bouzouki loopist, Shankara has performed internationally with members of Fairport Convention, Gong, Damo Suzuki, Blowzabella, Daevid Allen, Acid Mothers Temple and has studied the Hansa Veena with renowned Indian classical musician Barun Kumar Pal.

DJ DAVE GRINDI, host of the Moseley Record Fair, member of Klub '56-'66 and co-host of Sunday nights excellently eclectic UP Radio show on Brum Radio, will be also playing choice tunes between the acts.
