Wednesfield's annual canal festival returns for its 4th year on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th August.

Join us as we celebrate life along the Wyrley and Essington Canal with 2 days of live music, family-friendly activities, fairground rides, stalls, and an outdoor bar / music arena.

Come and find out about the canal's recent designation as a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and how you can get involved protecting this vital open space with the Canal and River Trust.

As in previous years, organisers expect a large number of local people will attend and the management at Bentley Bridge will close part of the car park, to ensure the safety of the visitors.

Activities take place from at 11am with live music from 1pm until 5pm on both days.

Come along and join in the fun by the Curly Wurly!

Organised by Hands On Wednesfield, Bentley Bridge Centre, The Nickelodeon, Greene King Pub & Carvery, and Councillor Phil Bateman MBE -Wednesfield North (Labour Party) with support from Canal & River Trust and Wolverhampton Today.
